Saudi Arabia has fallen for Iran's trap

The world is currently witnessing a last-ditch war of the United States of America together with Israel, against the Islamic Republic of Iran.  For 47 years since the Iranians ousted an American backed leader that is : Shah Mohammed Reza Pahlavi, the Americans and Israelis have been itching to attack Iran someday and either destroy it or take the endowed country back into their hegemonic control. Since the inception of the Islamic regime, Iran has faced global isolation and sanctions at the hand of Americans and their allies. Furthermore, the country has faced  regular attacks on its interests in the region by the Israelis. All this, with a purpose of laying the foundation of a major and final blow to the Islamic Republic.  The dream finally came true for the U.S and Israel  when on the 28th of February 2026, the two countries launched a joint  brutal military operation against Iran.  This, they named, " Operation Epic Fury ."  The Americans and Israe...

No more open ballots for LC 1 chairpersons please!

As our country Uganda gears up for the next round of LC1 chairperson elections on the 28th of June 2026, the nationals are obviously excited after spending a long time without voting for these leaders who are the main representatives of  the common man in our system of governance. However, it is sadly becoming a norm that the voting system for these most important leaders is the open ballot system where voters have to line behind the candidate of their choice. I am calling it sad because of the vast number of disadvantages of this voting method. An open ballot is a system of voting where the choice of the voter is known to others, rather than being kept secret.  While it is obviously cost friendly, it carries several significant disadvantages in modern democratic contexts. LC.1 chairpersons are the closest leaders to the population. Hence, we technically vote for people who we most probably know on a personal basis and likewise, the candidates usually know their voters on a pe...

The U.S-Iran war: A war in search of a mission

The United States together with Israel have always dreamed of destroying Iran especially after the 1979 Islamic Revolution which saw the outsing of the U.S -Israel puppet regime of Shah Reza Pahlavi.  Naturally, with its wounded ego, the U.S had to punish the Iranians for their "rebellion".  Over the years since the end of the Islamic Revolution, the U.S has given Iran a rough time.  At the hand of the mighty U.S.A, Iranians have faced numerous military campaigns against their territory.  Notably, is the Iran-Iraq war of 1980-1988 where the U.S supported Saddam Hussein of Iraq to launch a war against the Islamic Republic.  This came shortly after the country had gone through the tide of a Revolutionary war, before the it could fully stand on  its feet.  Iran has faced sanctions and global isolation at the hands of the brutal Americans.  Furthermore, the U.S jointly with Israel have ocassionally assassinated Iran's top military commamders and nucl...

An Nasr

Iran named its renewed military campaign against the United States " Operation Nasr 2 " to signify a campaign of retaliation and victory.  After forty days of fighting during their first stand off, the United States and Iran signed a ceasefire agreement on June 17 which hopefully laid a foundation for a permanent cessation of hostilities between the two countries. However, only a few weeks after signing the ceasfire agreement, the U.S renewed its military campaign against Iran under the guise of safeguarding navigation through the strait of Hormus .  As usual, Iran is retaliating against the U.S attacks by hitting U.S interests across the Gulf region.  However, unlike its previous campaigns that they have codenamed  " True Promise " in a chronological series of 1, 2 , 3 and 4, this time round Iran has codenamed its retaliation campaign against the U.S, " An Nasr ." The word  " nasr " (نصر) translates to "victory" or "triumph...

The U.S will get at anything to protect Israel: even if it means losing all its other bases in the Middle East.

Does everyone realise that in its latest assualt on Iran, the United States is effectively shielding Israel from Iran's missiles? It has always been Israeli Prime minister Benjamin Netanyahu's dream to see Iran getting destroyed. Technically, he would be at the frontline of any war that seeks to destroy the Islamic Republic. Not that the man has not tried anyway.  However, for each time that Israel has started a war with Iran, results have always not been good for the God chosen nation! Their very All Protecting father (U.S.A) under the stewardship of Zionist President Donald Trump, has always been around to pull the kid (Israel) away from troubles that the kiddo always puts himself into.  First, the God chosen ones launched an attack on Iran in June, 2025 that they named " Raising Lion" .  After previously killing a number of Iran's top military commanders in a series of surprise attacks,  the Israelis thought that a war with  Iran would be a walk over.  T...

The United States on course for the same fate over Homuz as that of Britain in the Suez Canal.

Britain was once the most dominant power in the world especially in the 19th century all the way through to the mid 90s, boasting of a number of colonies around the world. One of these many colonies was Egypt.  In this light of supremacy, other than just colonising the Egyptians, Britain went ahead and siezed control of the Suez Canal.  The Suez Canal was the vital artery of the British Empire, cutting travel times to India in half by bypassing the Cape of Good Hope.  Controlling this waterway was the backbone of British imperial strategy, ensuring swift military deployments, rapid trade and the security of Middle Eastern oil required for the Royal Navy.(The Royal Navy is the naval force of the United Kingdom). Britain attained control of the Suez Canal through two primary steps:  purchasing a controlling share in the canal company in 1875 from Egypt's debt-ridden ruler (Khedive Ismail Pasha) and subsequently invading and occupying Egypt in 1882 to secure its investm...
